Book Report 4 part 2 The Long Patrol

Discuss conflicts and how they are resolved.'

I think the main character Tammo resolved conflicts the best way possible. An example of one is that there was a group in his squad that would constantly pick on Tammo because he was a better fighter all of them. He was not sure of what to do at first so he pondered on what he should do. He tried being as friendly as possible to them, but that did not work as they kept bullying Tammo. Tammo could not think of anything that would work. Everything he tried it would counter him and he would be bullied even more. He then decided to go talk to a group of friends to see what they thought. They came up with all of them standing up to the group. This worked very well and the whole group apoligized to Tammo and became very close friends with Tammo. That was ironic though. I would have probably done the same thing as Tammo.  The way he handled fit Tammo's personality. External conflict.

Another example was that Tammo was very afraid of monsters. Especially of the leader of all monsters named Warfang. It was part of his job to kill the monsters though. He knew he had to lose this fear though. The only way he could diminish the fear was to confront it. He went out alone one night to hunt for monsters. He spents hours to search for one and would not stop even though he was shaking everywhere. He finally confronted one in the middle of the night. He yelled the famous warcry "Eu Eu Eulialia'' so the fight would be more fair. The monster turned around and jumped at him. Tammo was shaking so much he could not move. His sword his pointed out and the monster accidently jumped right onto it. After that, he started to enjoy killing monsters. I would not have done the same thing though. I would have gone with a group and confronted my fear. The way he handled the conflict was not like him. After he handled it he started to change more like the way he handled it. Internal Conflict.

Tammo confronted the conflicts in a great way. Maybe not the way I would have done them, but he got the job done. Tammo was very smart and not many people would not have even approached these conflicts.

FINALLY. BOOK REPORTS ARE DONE!
